i am sorry you were duped. but it would be better to swallow your losses than sell them to recoup. we appreciate your consideration in not letting it happen again. but unfortunately if you continue with the auction, within 48 hours we will take action unless the listing is removed. i dont think they are worth the trouble you will be faced with just to recover a few quid in losses. your best bet is to contact the supplier you got them from and get your money back based on the fact that you were not expecting snides. cheers.

of course you got that e-mail from another member. and expect a lot more from even more members flooding in. your "nike" factory is in china - confirmation, what, you have maybe some "official certificates of authenticity"? ebay may do that, remove listing and give back fees, buts it not ebay you need to worry about. its Nike you will have to worry about. your customers are uneducated consumers who dont know any better (or idiots who dont care), looking for a cheap deal on snide shoes that will fall apart after a few wearings. of course you have positive feedback - they recieved what they got. soon they will find out the cheap crap you sold them, but by then nike will have shut you down.

I have plenty better to do, but one of the things i do in my spare time is help out in combatting sellers of fake rifts. there is NOTHING "honest" about earning a living banking on the idiocy of the uneducated consumer by selling them snide products. there will be more people "with no lives" who will bombard you with emails like mine. i have not voiced my opnion. i have voiced FACT. good luck in providing nike with genuine infomation from your so-called supplier.

Thanks for the lovely email BK. These are not fake as i don't have to explain where i purchased them from, but they are from good source, from a chain of UK sports shops, the person i deal with is the purchasing manager for this national company, so unless they are buying fake poducts and selling them as original the whole country is up to it, including these so called national companies. I purchase goods under complete satisfaction that they are of authentic quality and under the impression of their autnenticity. I don't believe in fakes and i certainly don't believe in money laundering and drug related sales. I am a professional businesswoman and am totally offended in the nature of your email and your complete attitude. So don't for once think you can say to me "that i know that they are fake", without knowing me as a person and don't judge me like most of the dregs of society selling to make a living sitting on their asses fixed to their screen. If i have been screwed, please explain to me how, as i really don't know where i have gone wrong.

pcmcmo2006 sold these Item number: 250112547604 among others. We know he's selling fakes but if there was any doubt tell him that Nike didnt make that colourway in that size.
whats important here is you send the message letting them know they arent gonna be just reported to Nike (to be honest nike is the least of their worries!) its trading standards and HMC revenue and customs thats gonna take immediate and serious action. Nike are at the back of the queue of who they are gonna get done by. The message again...

Also its the BIG sellers that need targetted not the person selling 1 pair as they may not have realised and arent really as important on the grand scheme of things. Its the big guns that are constantly flooding eBay with fakes that are going to get prosecuted. I'd say anyone that has listed (or sold) 5 pairs of fakes would be priority as they are the ones that trading standards will act on.

Could you please answer a question, you say they are new without box, then you go on to say they are hardly used, which is it? Or are you misleading the public, I think you should end this auction now not in 48 hours time, plus your socks are out of there plactic bag, not very hygenic with your second pair on Auction, anyone can take a pair of socks out of a plastic bag and make out that there Rifts are the real thing, if they are not removed I will get them removed because of the wording not because they are fake, which I belive they are, so at the end of the day it works both ways.

Please read this message carefully. With regards to your first point about wanting the market to myself that is complete rubbish, the fact is people like you are ruining the rift market with your cheap fakes which you sell. With regards to your second point, I am not quite sure why you bring politics and world issues into the equation. What have they got to do with fake rifts? If, in your heart of hearts you honestly think your rifts are real (which they are not I can assure you) then you can think that. I do not need to prove to you that they are fake, I know. If you have contacted eBay that is fine with me, I have nothing to worry about as I have not used language which is threatening, neither have I harassed you. I am sure, if you have contacted them, that they will see your items are fake and ban you as it is illegal to sell counterfeit items. Your second message is rather irrelevant as you are trying to convince me that the rifts I sell are fake, which I assure you they aren't. You can try and get it removed if you wish, but you will fail. You say that it is unhygienic to photo the rifts out of their bag... what bag? authentic Nike air rifts never came in a bag, and this further proves your naivety. As for your certificate, it is fake just like your rifts. You ask me for my certificate which I don't really understand... you don't need to have a certificate to sell on eBay.

come on people, this guy is rediculous - EVERYONE needs to pitch in and e-mail this w*nker and the other fake sellers... but this one especially. the more he gets, the more he will realize he cannot win.
copy and paste is easy, and you can do it while surfing the net, its not hard. i dont want to hear that its just me, ben, barry, and tim e-mailing these guys?! there are loads of us here, and we all need to do this for it to work best! |

Hi,
Just wanted to clarify how it works with Trading Standards
If a consumer has an issue about a product they should report it to their Local Trading Standards Dept. which can be found by tapping in their post code here:
http://www.tradingstandards.gov.uk/
In the case where the address of the manufacturer/retailer etc is known the consumer's local Trading Standards Office should contact the 'home authority' i.e. the office local to the 'offender' who should take up the matter. TBH I don't know what the consumer's contact will do in the case wher this is not known.
The advantage of complainants contacting their local office is that many more TSO's will get involved and there is bound to be a central collation of activity which should highlight how big an issue this has become. Secondly Trading Standards have a huge area of responsibility and there resouces ar spread pretty thinly - by speading the complaints over many local authorities action is more likley rather than piling them all into one office.

This would seem to be another means of alerting those poor b*st*ds who are shelling out good money for crap fakes.
If we advised everyone to email them with their experiences they may do a spot and if the researchers contact Trading Standards they will be told about all the complaints that they have received - who knows we could even see Tim on the telly!!
