I was't doubting of the fact those rift are fake and, of course, of Tim's ability to know it !
But your answer doesn't really help to know how to recognize a fake from an original!
And i think that more "riftlovers" will be able to recognize a fake and better it'll be to stop this invasion on e-bay.

first tim was able 2 find out by the code inside the shoe ,

plus we can tell by the shape of the shoe (its not rite)
and by the seller, we know who r good and bad sellers!

j-ph are u a fake seller or factory in china by any chance? Laughing

most rift collectors can tell by the shape of the shoe, the colour, the quality, the box, the size, and yes by the seller. also the socks give them away too amongst many other things. if your new to rifts u may find fakes hard to spot but when u collect rifts fakes stand out a mile.

oh really...as if by magic you can tell by the code...not really some fakes have correct codes!!!! , in my view it depends on the seller yes, but also the colourways i.e most leathers yellow/green ( in sellers words) are fake!!!! it is also untrue to say that we all know who the good and bad sellers are...as this is also not true but indeed you can tell by the shape!!!!

I’m very sorry but I’m not actually a fake seller just an originals rifts but a simple buyer. And I’ve only ten pairs of originals rift !
I'm not Chinese too but a f*cking froggie! Mr. Green

I bought some of my rifts to shiggylucaswenger, Perhaps you know him, and I visit his website too as I do with your own site.((it was cover black/black but it comes with white socks so he is probably a fake seller too? (I really think it’s only because he preferred kept black socks for him or because he had no more new black socks)

I just would want to know how you can say only with looking at this picture that those rifts are fakes.

And like skyclarke says why some fakes can’t also have correct codes?

I’m agree with you for the shape and the colour on this picture but it can depend of the angle of view and of the light when this guy took the picture.

Quality: hard to say just by looking the picture!
The box: it’s seems to be a normal one.
The size: original black chino comes in UK size 9
The socks: looks originals too
The seller: This seller have in one year 384 positives feedback 2 neutrals and 2 negatives He offer to deliver personally to your door and he offer refund too. Seems to be strange for a fake seller, even if the only buy it now way is a bite strange but it’s his own choice.

I wrote to the buyer of a black chino pair who let a negative feedback to this guy, saying it was fakes to ask him how he know it. Hope he’ll answer me.

One little precision I’m not le the lawyer of this e-bay seller!

However, I’ve, please, a little question: what do think of those rift:

those are fakes too, nike dont make them in that colour/material, those are 100% fakes

they dont care, without fakes ebay would probably fold. most of the stuff on ebay is fake!! ebay profits would half if u took away all the fake clothing etc on it.

Ebay is a joke for selling rifts at the moment. I got an email from some goon today saying

'Hi, how much would you take to end the auction for your lasers early, as they are only £40 new on ebay'

I've put warnings about fakes all over my auction, obviously average joe doesn't give a toss about whether they're real or not!

f*cking tosspot fake sellers and tosspot Ebay for not giving a sh*t what anyone sells as long as they rake in the money Mad

horrible time to sell rifts mate, ive got tonnes in stock and not 1 pair listed on ebay!! far too many fakes. i refuse to sell auth lasers for £50 and baseballs for under £50!! its a joke

The really sad thing is there are 7 people watching mine and the bidding is at £1.24, it's enough to make you laugh! If they all think they're getting them for nothing they've got no chance! I'll wait till 5 mins before the end of the auction and pull them out!
