ok so youve been stung on ebay, some kind J600 members have warned you that you've bid on fakes but unfortunately its too late and you've won them. What can you do? Well 4 things really...

1. Well firstly DONT PAY FOR THEM. Dont be tempted to think "or well they wont be that bad" and get them anyway regardless of what they have cost or how cheap they appear to be. Fake rifts stand out a mile to most people and you dont want people to know your sporting cheap fakes and snigger behind your back. Even if you dont mind the image thing and want them for the gym etc. then theres still no point paying. Fake rifts cost approx $5 from thailand and this shows in the materials used. Your fake rifts will fall apart after a few weeks, certainly when you try to clean them so theres NO POINT in buying any.

2. Second thing to do is STRAIGHT AWAY LEAVE THE SELLER NEGATIVE FEEDBACK STATING THEY ARE FAKES. If you dont warn others that this is a fake seller then more people will get scammed just like you did. Do the right thing and warn other people they are about to pay £40+ for $5 pair of snides.

3. REPORT THE ITEM TO EBAY. Its only a 2step process and really easy. Click here to>> REPORT A FAKE EBAY ITEM Its really simple look, this is what the page looks like and what you do:

PAGE 1

PAGE 2 THATS IT!! Easy eh! Very Happy

4. Tell people about j600.com, the more people we can help then the less people will buy fakes. Thats the only way sellers will stop selling them. You might want to even warn the sellers, some sellers (very few) arent aware they are selling fakes.

5. CONTACT NIKE ABOUT THE SELLER, You can now contact nike direct about fake sellers on ebay, there is instructions here: http://forums.j600.com/post121359.html#121359

If we can get the message across that its only rifts we care about (the rift battle is big enough for us) maybe we can get these fake rift sellers away from rifts and selling other fakes instead (that would be a start - not perfect - but certainly a step in the right direction for us). Contact fake sellers and say "look what happened to this guy, it could happen to you" stop selling fake rifts!

Anyway, if you need more help when you've bought fakes with getting a refund, how to do paypal claims or what to do then ask someone on here. We are here to help you!

Im currently having a battle with someone over some Rifts i refuse to pay after i found out they were fakes, his messages are non short of unbelieveable.

I msged him saying i wouldnt be paying for fakes and that ill warn any other bidder about him. he replied with this:

"What is your problem can
you not read english?
If you think they are fake, why did you bid?
you are a silly person, get a
life please, find something better to do, YOUU should be banned from this site, for a good reason!"

I mean i obviously didnt know they were fake when i bought them then i found out just as the auction ended. Am i hell paying for them, but what can i do? the communications obviously going to get us no where so whats the next step? will i recieve an unpaid strike thing even though there completely sh*te?

if you havent paid for them then neg him and say you refuse to pay for $5 FAKE NIKE rifts. even better mention J600.COM for free advice on spotting fakes (that should do the job).

If you have paid then ask for your money back, if he refuses to give you your money back i'd warn the seller that you have their full contact details, full paypal details and also counterfeit items which you bought from them (along with an ebay listing advert which they produced including photo's of the fakes)

then...

tell them you will pass all off this information to the police, trading standards and HM Revenue & Customs. You will then also contact all of his previous buyers and tell them to do the same and give them step by step instructions and contact numbers/emails to report this claim.

if he's totally f*ckin stupid he'll ignore you and risk losing his job/benefits he currently claims, face prosecution and eventually get fined and possibly face a stretch in prison. trading standards are HUGELY clamping down on fake sellers who pimp their sh*t on ebay. they are raiding houses, taking all pc hardware/stock and prosecuting these sellers. if a single person files a claim it can take some time to get processed, but when more than one person files a claim then they have to act much much faster on it. If you get another buyer/other buyers involved in reporting him he's f*cked to put it bluntly.

if he's got any brain cells he'll give you a refund pretty sharpish.

Na i didnt pay but i like the idea of threatening if he dosent drop his case against me as its just going backwards and not progressing anywhere fast.

I mentioned j600 as he claimed they werent fake so we'll see if he eats his words. No way am i paying for some sh*te from Taiwan.

If you've paid by paypal isn't there a bit where you can claim you're money back if the item is not as described?

and these are not nike air rifts, and so not as described?

no chance mate, you wont win the claim based on authenticity because you cant prove they are fake. ebay/paypal ask you to prove they are fake rather than him prove they are real. They ask for a signed letter from nike, even if you got a signed letter from nike (which is impossible to get and they know it) they would say the letter was fake before accepting the item is. ebay/paypal make far too much money out of fakes to be giving refunds to buyers and losing out on fees. it would cost them £millions in fees if they refunded everyone that bought a fake.

Hi

Just purchased a pair of Nike Rifts, They were delivered today. They look pretty good, but I got worried at the tag

It states

Made in Indonesia
0410202 IW
308673.

This will take you straight to the page

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=013&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=230108927274&rd=1&rd=1

I noticed in one of the fake photos the box stated made in Indonesia, which made me worry. But none of the fake pictures show the inside of the trainers.

If they are fakes, and I paid by paypal, what can I do?

quick someone
are these fake?

I need to buy them so I can get his address because he sold me fake P.Ricos in a cash transaction because I was eager to buy after loosing a sale so i dont have any details on him. Are these ALL fakes?

http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZt_wallace6855c5QQhtZ-1

the seller is t_wallace6855c5

Paypal denied me the claim.. because they say doesnt relate to materials only delivery of goods... Man what nightmare

Definitely not!

And if there were ever any fakes offered here in the forum, the sale listing would be deleted in seconds.

Steve speaks the truth!

Also we have never EVER sold fakes in the j600.com shop!

We are all rift experts and we cannot be fooled - we also hate fakes and would never try to make a quick buck selling snides. Just ain't gonna happen!!!
